An Angel Named Billy is an emotional and sensitive family drama looking at love, loss and human pain. This film is funny while being very honest at the same time. An abused boy gets a new start in life when he meets the man of his dreams. His life changes for the better overnight leaving all the pain that he has experienced behind.

Mark and Thomas have been best friends for many years. Mark has recently suffered a stroke and knows that the end may be near. Through his pain, Mark is able to see that his gay son James needs to find the love of his life once and for all. Mark and Thomas set out to find Mr. Right for James.

Billy arrives in town from the country after being abused by his father. Billy is young, naïve and is coming to terms with his sexuality. After finding an help wanted ad in a local café, Billy and James eventually meet. We soon find out that Mark was the one who placed the ad. The ending will surprise you and warm your heart.
