GenQ - For the not so straight individual

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have millions of fans around the world. It now appears that the actors have a ‘stamp of approval’ as the two will soon be featured on a fifty cent stamp to be issued by Australia Post.

The couple will feature on a stamp due to Australia Post reproducing a cover of New Idea, following the magazine’s success at the recently held Magazine of the Year Awards; the postal company is the major sponsor of the awards.

The picture to be placed on the stamp includes Pitt and Jolie along with their daughter Shiloh.

A spokesperson from New Idea said that Australia would become the first country to feature Brad and Angelina on a stamp and that the stamps “are sure to become instantly collectable and be sought after by philatelists around the country�.

Collections of stamps which have been released this year include the Queen’s Birthday, the Year of the Lifesaver and the 75th Anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
