Former President Gerald Ford passed away on Tuesday night at the age of 93. Upon death he was the longest living US President in history passing Ronald Reagan on November 13, 2006.

Those close to President Ford say his health has deteriorated over the past three years.

He is survived by his wife Betty Ford, infamous for founding the Betty Ford Center for drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
