An in-press feud has ignited between most recent winner of Dancing With The Stars Bridie Carter and television programme McLeod’s Daughters, a show which Carter previously co-starred in.

Following her victory on Channel Seven’s celebrity reality programme on Tuesday, Carter was quoted at the after-party stating that Seven “is the most supportive network I have worked on for a long time.�

Carter also has made headlines within the last week for being ‘unsurprised’ at Channel Nine’s choice to axe McLeod’s Daughters next year after eight seasons.

The comments trigged a response from a source close to the production team who said “Bridie is completely up herself and everyone was thrilled to see the back of her when she left the show.

“But I can't believe she's bagging the program that made her famous -- there's no way she would have even been on Dancing without it. Good luck to her, she's an absolute nightmare.�

The remarks resulted in Carter accusing the McLeod’s production team of “negativity�.

Channel Seven also responded to the source’s comments, with a network spokesperson stating “Bridie has an incredible work ethic and is always extremely approachable, and is very enthusiastic about the show.�

Let’s hope that the remarks between the drovers don’t keep coming in droves.
