GenQ - For the not so straight individual

Saturday November 11, 2006 marks one of this year's most talked about music events - the Bang Music Festival in Miami, FL.  Duran Duran, Daft Punk, and Tiesto are headlining this year's festival which should be quite memorable and GenerationQ will be there!

Daft Punk has been wowing audiences during their most recent "Alive 2006" tour this past year with two different stops in the states -- Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA and now Bang! Music Festival in Miami. Coachella marked the first time Daft has been in the United States since late 1997, this reason alone is enough to drive anyone to Miami to see the incredible visuals and feel the amazing and unique sound that Daft Punk Produces.

If your tastes revolve around electronica music, such as myself, Bang has one of the best lineups I've seen in quite some time (even compare that to the "other" Miami event in late winter) including performances by Tiesto, Thievery Corporation, Christopher Lawrence, Markus Schultz, Cedric Gervais, 4Strings, and Icey. Indeed, this is the place to be on Saturday the 11th!

Of course, we have to mention that 80s glam rockers Duran Duran (Hungary Like a Wolf, Girls on Film, Rio, etc.) are back together after 28 years and will be the main headliner for the event!  Also appearing are Modest Mouse, Gnarls Barkley, and Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley.
