Little Brother: What the hells? it been like since you got out!

Gaelan: Frantic man, my feet have barely touched the ground! Flooded with phone calls and everything, just gone out to Dreamworld with a hundred kids, takin? heaps of photos. Ummm mixed emotions, kinda miss it (being in the Big Brother house), miss my mates (in the house), looking forward to seeing my old mates. Everything man, it's been full-on!

Little Brother: What were you doing this time yesterday, can you remember?

Gaelan: What time, about midday yesterday, probably cookin?? meat and sardines on that barbecue man. Do you know how hard it is to make a sardine taste good?

Little Brother: Ahh, I hate seafood, so.. (laughs)

Gaelan: (laughs) Man this is the arse-end of free food, I reckon

Little Brother: You lost a bit of weight in the house mate. You can really see it in your face.

Gaelan: Yeah, yeah well I dropped umm? well I'm actually naturally skinny, I'm really lean. I reckon I dropped off about 5 kilos in there. Just not eating the way you would ordinarily on the outside, just eating younno no protein and stuff like that. And of coarse not having the gym equipment that I'm probably used to, so yeah I've probably dropped a few for sure. Try and keep it up though, sorta not a bad thing though I'll probably just lean up a bit and after that I'll look forward to working out when I get back into it.

Little Brother: When the series started there was the twist of family members being in the house, which you guys didn't know about initially. A lot of people saw a similarity between you and Katie. Have you heard that since you've gotten out?

Gaelan: Yeah look, I was like that even at the start! I mean I went into the rewards room the first week, and I came in and I saw her running a muck just like sorta I was doing. And I'm like, a lot of people were saying that and I remember Jamie was upset because I was stealing his bed partner. The pressure was starting up and I'm like relax man, younno we were like brother and sister nothings gonna happen man! I took her (into the rewards room) coz she came second place, she deserved it as runner-up. Yeah I heard it quite a bit, yeah for sure, maybe the blonde hair and the blue eyes? and the big grin and loud and out of control so for sure!

Little Brother: On the launch night, you actually might not remember this, you walked out onto the stage twice ? was that pretty weird?

Gaelan: I got hammered for it!

Little Brother: Yeah and I remember you were talking about it when you first entered the house in the waiting room. I was thinking that poor fella ? you walked out twice!

Gaelan: Nah coz did you hear what happened!

Little Brother: Yeah I was there at the studios that night and I think Gretel asked you, ?Are you gay or not??? did she?

Gaelan: She goes, ?That was pretty gay!? And I'm going, what the f'k are you talking about! Like, what do you mean? So I was there and I go, ?Oh ha ha, have a laugh about my name, I've been copping shit since primary school?. Yeah, go on get it out of your system and what not.

Little Brother: Yeah that's fair enough.

Gaelan: And I'm looking dumb founded, whata you talkin? about! And she goes, ?It's just the way that you walked out?. Big Brother told me last night when I met everyone, when you walked down there you looked like a d------d! And I've gone, I had no idea what I was doin! It was sooo nerve racking!

Little Brother: I don't think it actually made it the final cut that was shown on TV, I think they morphed your two entrances into just the one!

Gaelan: Yeah (says nervously)

Little Brother: You were fine! You spoke briefly about your primary school experience - with being bullied because of your name. Would people hit you up if you were gay when you were younger?

Gaelan: Nah, not at all. They use to repeat my name and reduce it to the three letters, you can probably guess the letters, G-A-E. I mean, when you know, gay meant nothing to us back then man, we had no idea what homosexuality was. It wasn't until later that umm, it just, I guess they just stopped calling it to me and by the age of sixteen I acquired the nickname ?Styx?. I dunno if you've heard of that?

Little Brother: Yeah I have actually?

Gaelan: Yeah, but it got thrown out (from bring used in the house) in the first week though, coz I think some confusion with previous episodes of people being confused as to having a nickname on the show, but then going under their proper name when it comes to nominating. So umm that got thrown out, but I've had ?Styx? since I was sixteen coz of my skinny build. And that's sorta just taken over, so it's so weird to hear ?Gaelan? so much I'm like, I feel like I'm in trouble.
