Few Days in September is a hard-hitting spy thriller that all audiences will enjoy. The basic plot centres around three strangers whose lives become intertwined while travelling through the picturesque Paris and Venice. This film has little violence but if you enjoy spy films then this is for you.

This film is also set around the time of September 11th, hence the title and what was happening in the lead up to that day. Elliott is a highly trained American CIA agent he carries with him some details on the future of the United States. When he suddenly disappears many questions are raised.

We soon find out that Elliott was on his way to meet his estranged daughter, which was being helped by some government officials. While this film tackles some serious issues there is also many light and humorous moments, thanks to Turturro’s character. This film may seem a little dull in places and seem to stand still, but do not let this put you off from the finale.

Venice and Paris are presented beautifully and are pleasing on the eye. Overall a good film with a strong cast and good dialogue.
