In his rather typical fire and brimstone, "Reverned" Fred Phelps (pictured, right with sign), "pastor" of the Westboro Baptist "Church" claimed today on his websites, www.godhatesamerica.com and www.godhatesfags.com that the reason why Cho Seung-Hui committed mass murder on the campus of Virginia Tech yesterday morning was because we are a "country of sodomites." Phelps claims "Then, the LORD your God sent a crazed madman to shoot at your children...He willed this to happen to punish you for assailing his servants"

Also on his website he claims “Meanwhile, she [America] finalized the deal whereby she sold her soul to the sodomites�

Phelps, who took over a small commune in Topeka Kansas to start his “Westboro Baptist Church� is commonly known as the individual who pickets and protests at gay and lesbian events, funerals for fallen soldiers, and other nationwide events usually calling on us to repent our evil ways knowing that “we are going to hell.� The Westboro Baptist Church was also responsible for many of the picketing and demonstrations that occurred after the murder of Matthew Shepard.

The Westboro Baptist Church is planning on picketing the funerals of all the students and the teacher who died in the rampage at Virginia Tech.
