Generation Q Interviews Klancie Keough!!

Sadly, Australian Idol's Country Girl Klacnie Keough has been eliminated, making her the 3rd contestant to be knocked off the Idol Horse! Generation Q Interviewed Klancie the day after her unfortunate elimination!

Country girl Klancie Keough has been the 3rd contestant knocked out of the Australian Idol Race this week. Tis sexy queenslander has demonstrated why she deserved to belong in the top 12 this year & as I chatted to Klancie, I could see why she is destined for stardom after Australian Idol. Read on to hear what Klancie had to say!

Firstly Klancie, How are you feeling after the eliminations?
Well firstly I was devastated, then dissapointed but then as I was thinking about it I focussed on the positive parts of the competition. I realised I have had great exposure to the public & I still have my friends, family & fans to support me & now I feel fantastic!

What were some of the hardest things for you to endure while being in Australian Idol?
It would have to have been my family & friends back home for sure. I also missed my pet bird Billy who usually sleeps with me of a night time ha ha. I also missed my nephews & the farm alot. I think the distance thing really made it hard for me but I worked through it.

Now, we are seeing a much harsher from from the judges this year. What are your views on them?
Too be honest I think they are copping alot of bad flack from it all & I dont think they deserve it. I respect them in the highest & with the advice they gave me I worked with it & worked out where I was going wrong each week. I dont hate any of them, I love them all!

So whats next for you after Idol has ended for you Klancie?
Im going to keep writing some music & get my name out there. I have gotten in contact with some people who are in the music industry like Shania Twain's Guitarist & the person who writes music with Guy Sebastian for advice & to make that connection. I also hope to get up to the Gimpy Muster & have a go at the Tamworth Country Music Festival so it should be fun time for me! ha ha

Excellent news! So if you were to bring out an album what would we look forward to hearing?
Pretty much Im versatile with my styles of music. I wil try anything once but I would probably stick to something which im good at which is Country mainly.

So what have you gained out of the Idol Experience Klancie?
I have learnt a hell of a lot. I have had a lot of personal growth out of everything which helped me through Idol. I have learnt about music techniques & how to use the stage but most of all I have learnt to believe in myself & I have definitely came out a better person out of it all.

Finally Klancie, Any last words for your fans out there?
I would like to extend a heartfelt thankyou to each & every person that has supported me on my Idol journey. Even if you have voted for me once or made a poster, Thankyou so much for helping me live my dream & helping me through the Idol Experience.

Thankyou so much Klancie for taking the time out of your busy schedule & for speaking to us!

So who will be next on the Idol chopping block? Watch Australian Idol monday nights starting 7:30 to find out who we say goodbye to next!!!

Cheers,
Josef Krausert
