The day has finally come, Britney Spears has taken her first step on the road to a come back.

TMZ.com is reporting that Britney has filed for divorce in the LA County Superior Court citing "irreconcilable differences" with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Britney has requested both legal and physical custody of both children with Kevin getting reasonable visitation rights.

She also wants K-Fed to pay his own attorney's fees and will forfeit her right to spousal support as outlined her pre-nup.

The papers show that the date of seperation as yesterday, November 6, 2006. TMZ also reports that their sources say it was a series of events that lead to the divorce filings.
