Human Rights Day...

Human Rights Day! Be the voice of the suffering.

Here is a press release concerning human rights. Don't forget that you have a voice: let it be heard. RQO (PGLO) and Human Rights Day Ranian Queer Organization - IRQO (Former Persian Gay & Lesbian Organization - PGLO) message for the International Day for Human Rights Celebrating fifty eighth anniversary of the Humane Rights Charter is taking place at a time when various countries continue denying their citizens the very basic human rights. Although most governments have signed The Charter but none the less masses in many of these countries are victims of violations of humane rights issues. The contradiction does not end here; violated victims turn in to violators against another division of society and it goes on.

The worst falls on the ones who not only are denied rights by the government but also endure discriminations by their family, society, law, and religion.. So more often we must remind ourselves that the human rights should not exclusive to one or some layers of society, but must be inclusive of everyone and everyone. Iranian Queer Organization expresses objection to human rights violations based on color, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and political beliefs. The organization works towards practices of the charters ---- and hopes for spreading of the idea most widely; human rights are our rights and it's for everyone to work towards practicing of human rights. For our rights to be recognized we must recognize others' rights.

In addition to protest the conditions homosexuals, bi, and transsexuals live in Iran, Iran Queer extends objections to conditions queers face in Iraq, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Cameroon and etc. Iran Queer pleads to the United Nations and the new Human Rights Council to find solutions for practicing and spreading of human rights, and equal rights for people in all countries. Also, urges all human rights advocate organizations to consider and include all sections of society in their agenda and their forwarded support. ---------------------------------------- Arsham Parsi Secretary-General Persian Gay & Lesbian Organization - PGLO (Recently Renamed IRanian Queer Organization - IRQO).
