Dean would make a great gay guy, wouldn't he?

His hung, his definitely buff, a bit of a bitch, manipulative, takes care of himself and his body ? and he has those dimples that make us melt into the lounge and cringe with jealously. The only thing that screams Dean is straight is his lover loyalty and sexual orientation ? pity!

I felt it my responsibility to chat to the ?metrosexual? flavour of the month, and ask a few questions about his metro ways, and his time in the BB house, Q&A style.

queerplanet: Have you had a chance to catch up with any of the other housemates since your recent evection?
Dean: Yeah I have actually. I've caught up with Geneva, Dan and Constance. I'm seeing Dave tomorrow.

queerplanet: What's shocked you most about coming back into the real world? Any news events or that kinda stuff?
Dean: The London bombings for sure. It was a bit of a smack in the face to tell you the truth.

queerplanet: Why the idea of going into Big Brother in the first place? Are there plans to pursue a career in media?
Dean: I think that everyone that goes into reality TV, expect to come out and be media stars. And the reality is that not many of them do. If those opportunities arose, I would definitely look at them, but I'm more than happy with my normal life.

queerplanet: Now, how does it feel to be adored by many of Australia's gay community?
Dean: I think it's a compliment to tell you the truth. I think it's really nice.

queerplanet: Have you got any close gay mates?
Dean: Not any really close gay mates, no.

queerplanet: Do you consider yourself a bit of a metrosexual Dean?
Dean: I always called it a microsexual at the beginning. I didn't even know the word, but apparently everyone thinks that I am. Before I went in I never used moisturisers and stuff like that ? never.

queerplanet: How important is it to keep fit and looking good too you?
Dean: Healthy body, healthy mind I think. You just get pleasure out of seeing results. I still don't know the difference between cleansers and toners. I have to get the girls to tell me which one to put on first and things like that. But it makes your skin feel better, I learnt that. I only shave my face.

queerplanet: Now Gay guys are known for not being the loyalist of people when in relationships. You've taught us a bit there mate. Was it difficult?
Dean: No, not at all. I've found a lady that I absolutely adore, so no way.

queerplanet: There was some speculation that Logan Greg had a few gay tendencies, do you think this was just his metro sexual side showing itself ? or is there something we should know?
Dean: No, mate. Its just his metrosexual side. His very much like me. His very open to people being themselves. I know he knows quite a few gay people. It was just all in fun. Just his metro sexual side coming out in him.

queerplanet: The team at queer planet were a little disgusted at how your eviction was handled. How did you think your eviction was handled last Sunday night with the references to lying and the prizes?
Dean: I guess at the end of the day I did sign on for everything, and I wouldn't change anything that happened. Me and the people at Big Brother are on good terms, they did a good job. At the end of the day I'm with my girl, and that's all that matters too me.

queerplanet: So once things settle down, what's next for Dean over the coming 12 months?
Dean: I'm so boring mate. I'm just waiting to see what happens. I'm just going to wait for the pieces to settle. I'm happy with my everyday life. I'm not sitting here counting on it, or making plans around it.

queerplanet: Who's going to win Big Brother 2005?
Dean: Kate or Tim I think!
