GenQ - For the not so straight individual

Welcome to GenerationQ's Campaign for Equal Rights!

This upcoming feature to 'GenerationQ.net - The lifestyle magazine with attitude' is now launching in order to take full advantage of all events in 2007.

The name is self explanatory; we are passionate about gay and lesbian people around the world obtaining equal rights, and rather than just acknowledging its existence, we are doing something about it!

This developing campaign will cover all events that take place around the world in regards to the promotion and awareness of equal rights, social commentaries on current affairs, progress that has been made on equal rights movements, and as the campaign strengthens, it is hoped that GenerationQ will hold events in order to support equal rights.

You are being invited to take part in this campaign in anyway that you like. If you wish to contribute articles, provide feedback, or even help us to create awareness of the campaign, you are more than welcome to do so! If you have any other ideas for contributing, let us know, and we will be more than happy to hear them! Just express your interest in an e-mail to chris@generationq.net with a bit about yourself, and why you would like to contribute to our campaign. The more people that are involved, the better.

The issue of homosexuality is a major issue; being gay is still illegal in 77 countries. And in the majority of countries where it is legal, complete equal rights for gay and lesbian people are not even close to being enforced. It is hoped that with campaigns such as this one, that a difference can truly be made.
