The concert held Saturday at MEN Arena, was cut short after Kylie left the stage teary-eyed halfway through the show with the flu being named as the cause of the abrupt departure and cancellation and also leading to the cancellation of two other shows on Monday and Tuesday.

Refuting reports in the media that Kylie ignored her doctor's request, she released a statement saying she did not nor has she ever ignored her doctor’s requests at any stage and stated the cancellation of two shows was per their request so she may be fit to finish her Homecoming Tour.

With that statement, Kylie also added, “I am now overjoyed to announce that I have been declared fit to return to the stage on Thursday and we will now be adding three replacement shows next week so as not to disappoint anyone!"

Monday and Tuesday's shows have been rescheduled for Sunday 21 January and 22 January with Saturday's cancelled show following on Tuesday 23 January.
