Life after Big Brothe

In three months time a new Big Brother millionaire will lead the pack. So what happens when everything settles down and the winner deals with life after Big Brother? Little Brother investigates what the seven winners (yes seven in total) are up to now...

BEN WILLIAMS ? Winner Season One (2001)

When Ben entered the Big Brother house six years ago he was a builders labourer and student, he now has an established sports media career working as a consultant for Pacific Sports Management. After winning the grand prize, he became a regular columnist for various sports publications and newspapers, including The Weekend Australian with his views of sport in Australia and overseas. Ben has been an active charity supporter, being involved with World Vision and also as an ambassador for Star Life.

He has also been involved in TV and radio developments such as Network TEN's ?Personal Best? sports lifestyle program, a documentary traveling to Africa to meet his World Vision sponsor child, the internet based ?Banana TV? and he also joined the team at Triple M covering the 2002 Sydney Swans AFL season.

PETER CORBETT ? Winner Season Two (2002)

Peter entered the series as an IT consultant, but left as winner of Big Brother and is now studying Medical Science at the University of Wollongong. He has also been an active charity supporter, assisting Banardos Australia and becoming an ambassador for Daffodil Day.

Peter has since maintained a profile outside of the public eye. Last year he competed at the Rugby League Sevens competition at the University Games in Tamworth.

DYLAN LEWIS ? Winner Celebrity Big Brother (2002)

When Dylan entered the Celebrity Big Brother series, he was famous for hosting music programs such as ABC's ?Recovery? and Network TEN's ?Pepsi Live? television and radio show. During the entire series, he was never nominated for eviction by his fellow celebrity housemates and then went on to win the public vote. The show raised over $750,000 for the Starlight Foundation and Ronald McDonald House.

After Dylan won the series he continued as host of ?Pepsi Live?, appeared as an extra in ?Star Wars ? Attack Of The Clones? and also landing a role in the film ?The Real Thing?. He was also a celebrity driver in the Virtual V8 Supercars Championship. It is believed Dylan focused on his two bands and then was based in the UK. He was most recently in the media spotlight as a contestant in the Nine Network's ?Celebrity Circus? last year.

REGINA BIRD ? Winner Season Three (2003)

Before Big Brother, Regina co-owned a Fish & Chip shop with her husband in Tasmania and left the house three months later as one of the most popular housemates ever. After winning the grand prize, she sold the business and moved to Sydney, gaining high media exposure when she divorced her husband.

Regina landed her first acting role in a pilot series, which later did not make it on to television. She was hired as a star recruit at Virgin Blue, working as a Flight Attendant. Later she appeared on the Nine Network's celebrity reality program ?Skating On Thin Ice?. Since then, she has moved to Melbourne, preparing for her return to the small screen as a presenter this year.

TREVOR BUTLER ? Winner Season Four (2004)

Trevor was a furniture storeman when he first entered the house and walked out three months later as Big Brother's first millionaire. After the series, he married girlfriend Breea and set himself up on the Gold Coast.

He appeared as a contestant on the Nine Network's ?Celebrity Overhaul? last year and now works for radio station Hot Tomato in the Street Teams and also as a movie reviewer.

GREG & DAVID MATTHEWS (THE LOGANS) ? Winners Season Five (2005)

Before they were Big Brother's imposters, Greg worked as a consultant for the Fosters Group in Newtown and David was a plumber in Wagga Wagga. They left the series with $836,000 and later greatly profited from the many nightclub appearances and TV programs that followed after Big Brother.

They appeared on Network TEN's ?Celebrity Ready Steady Cook?, ?Celebrity World Poker Tour? and the Nine Network's ?Temptation? to name a few. David then worked as a stuntman at the Seaworld water ski show.

This month, the boys have travelled to the arctic to become the first twins to ski to the north pole. The self-funded $23,700 per person quest will span a gruelling 110km journey. The team consists of eight people and it is expected to take 10 days to complete.
