Kate Winslet heads a strong cast including Patrick Wilson and Jennifer Connely in Little Children. This emotional and moving film tells of a happy family that is shattered by a father and husbands affair.

The gorgeous Patrick Wilson plays Brad who is married to Kathy played by Jennifer Connely in a somewhat happy state of matrimony. One day while at the community pool Brad meets Sarah. They find that they both have a young daughter and this is the beginning of a mutual attraction.

The tight nit community that both couples live in sets the safe haven for their affair. We soon discover that no marriage is what it appears to be and no town is ever completely safe. This is evident when a sex offender moves into town and how the locals treat him and his older mother.

Little Children brings to the surface so many issues that are wrong with society today. Can two people be that lonely and bored that they have to have an affair? How can any other person judge others when they have so many floors themselves? This film will raise these questions along with many more.

A good script and a good cast make this a stand out film. Patrick Wilson is brilliant, this guy goes from strength to strength in each film that he does. Get ready for an emotional film with Little Children.
