Long Beach, CA (USA). Pride season is once again back in full swing in Southern California as the city of Long Beach prepares to celebrate 2006 Pride with the slogan "I am. I belong" This will be the 23rd annual pride celebration for the area and is the first during this pride season for the Southern California region.

Festivities include the annual pride festival on Saturday and Sunday May 20th and 21st and parade on the 21st at 10:30 am down ocean boulevard in Long Beach. The festival will include entertainment headliners such as India Arie.
