Love...or Regret... you can decide!

Sometimes a planned one-nighter can turn out to be something more for one of the parties, causing problems for both. GenerationQ writer, Steve, is back and gives us his views.....

Love. The one word that can cure your pains or cause your world to explode in ways unimaginable. We all aspire to love and to be loved but sometimes all you want is a good hard romp in the sack with no strings attached.

Casual sex, when done safely, can be a great way to have fun, release stress and exercise the more primal parts of our mind. But what happens when that bed buddy suddenly turns lustful indulgence into something more? What do you do when "hey want to catch up for a shag" becomes "I love you"?

Ultimately it is up to you. Most people will shy away quickly and ignore the other person. On the other hand this could be that once in a lifetime opportunity knocking at your door.

Many bi-sexual people keep their bi side a secret and fear commitment to someone of the same sex because of the ridicule and heartache it can cause. Just remember, you live your life for you and no one else. So if it makes you happy then why not let things take their course. Don't let the mentality of society make your mind up for you. You are responsible for everything you do' the good and the bad. So why stop yourself from achieving what you want?

In this day and age people are generally more worried with the 'here and now' and don't generally put much thought into the future. This is fine for the most part but don't let yourself get into a position where later in life you could turn around and start to wonder 'what if?'.

It is generally better to have tried and failed than to have never tried and wonder what could have been.

Regret....the close friend of hindsight can be just as devastating as anything else the human race has come up with.
