Natalie Bassingthwaighte to host So You Think You Can DanceRogue Trader Natalie Bassingthwaighte has been announced as host for Network Ten's latest reality television show. After the success of broadcasting two American seasons, Network Ten will be introducing an Australian series of So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. After speculation emerged earlier this week, it has been confirmed that Rogue Traders lead singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte will be hosting the series.
“I am so excited to be hosting such a fantastic show! I know Australia has amazing dancers and I can't wait to show them to the country and the rest of the world”, Bassingthwaighte said when the impending announcement was made. Channel Ten chief programming officer David Mott was delighted to announce Bassingthwaighte’s return to the network, and said “We could think of no better person to host one of Network Ten's biggest shows for 2008. She ticks all the boxes – passionate, credible, glamorous. She has got it all and more.” Judges for the Australian series of the show are choreographers Jason Coleman and Bonnie Lythgoe, as well as renowned dancer Matt Lee.
