Queer As Folk The Complete Second SeasonDVD - Queer As Folk The Complete Second Season. Queer As Folk The Complete Second Season
Warner Home Video Released February 7th on DVD After a long wait patient Australian fans can now own Queer As Folk The Complete Second Season on dvd. QAF is the most ground breaking American series to date for the Gay and Lesbian community. The entire gang are back after the final of season one where Justin is still in hospital after his horrific attack. Moving away from the British version and creating its own platform QAF successfully achieved this during the second season. Just as quickly as Justin was attacked at the end of season one he is out of hospital and recovering quiet well. At long last we see a softer side of Brian Justins on and off again lover. Brian is actually starting to really care for Justin and this evident throughout season two. Even though their together never lasts long, Justin took up with Ethan. This was probably the most stable relationship out of the guys this season. Michael and Brian still continued to play mind games with each other with Michaels mother Debbie disliking Brian more and more and the season progressed. Our favourite lesbians, Lindsay and Melanie proved once again to have the most stable relationship on the show compared to the boys. Ted and Emmet continued their love hate friendship along with always being close to Michael and Brian. Once again Debbie provided the funniest one liners on the show. Sharon Gless is a force to be reckoned with in the role of Debbie. This character holds the show together with all the characters having Debbie as their centrepiece. This loving mother of Michael is a perfect example of what all gay people would love their mother to be. Another high light of this season was another openly gay actor joined the cast. Robert Gant. He becomes the long time lover of Michael. I like how this relationship was explored throughout the season. This was sweet and seemed more real than the relationship between Justin and Michael. Warner Home Video have done a great job in bringing the complete second season to DVD. This season has become a powerhouse for gay television. Marcus Richa
