Smokin Aces has a huge cast with some amazing talent. Andy Garcia, Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liota and Jeremy Piven make up the main cast. Also Australian actor Martin Henderson and Joel Edgerton both have small roles in this mob action film.

Smokin Aces is a mixture of many stories that all come together in the end. They all have one thing in common and that is Smokin Buddy Aces played by Jeremy Piven. Buddy used to be a Vegas performer who has since turned to a life of crime by trying to join the mafia. Things do not go as planned and Buddy is set to testify in court about what he knows.

The story has so many twists and turns that make it hard for the audience to follow in a logical order. The FBI tries to stop a hit taking place and leaving no casualties with all involved getting out of it alive. A massive bounty is put on Buddy's head to stop him from appearing in court. Every low life and criminal is out for his life.

There are a few clues along the way that you can pick up on but most of all each story will confuse and make you doubt what you think your already know. That, to me means that a movie like this is well worth watching. One that makes you think and question each scene. A good with a strong cast, but be prepared to be totally confused and lost while watching Smokin Aces.
