Spice Girls too raunchy for daytime TV

The BBC has pulled the broadcast of the new Spice Girls video from pre 9pm timeslots due to a raunchy scene.

The Daily Mirror has reported that the video for the latest single for the Spice Girls Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) will not be broadcast on the BBC prior to 9pm due to raunchy scenes on the video.

The video has what was been described as ‘revealing’ shots, with Posh Spice Victoria Beckham wearing not much more than knee high boots at one point in the video, and Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell being seen in a bra.

Beckham appears in the music video wearing just a black bra and knickers, and also in a satin basque.

Despite being scared to appear in little clothing during the video, Beckham said “In the end it was great. I haven't laughed so much in years.”

Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) is the official song for charitable organization Children In Need, and was released earlier this week digitally in Australia; the single will be released physically in Australia on 19 November.

Do you think the new video is too raunchy? Check it out for yourself and let us know...
