No matter what genre they are they always seem to be so different from U.S shows in every way. It's easier to get hooked and the writing is much better. Get ready for some high camp value with Surburban Shootout. Billed and Desperate Housewives meets Kill Bill, I knew that I was going to enjoy Suburban Shootout and I did. This is a funny and very wacky show. The casting hits a high note with acclaimed British actress Anna Chancellor, bet known for her film work in Four Weddings & A Funeral and Crush. Ann plays the lead role of tough gang leader Camilla. Australian actress Rachel Blake best known for the feature film Lantana, plays resident vixen Hilary Davenport. The basic premise of this show is simple. A quiet English town that looks sleepy and boring on the surface is actually a town full of crime, drugs, sex and every other illegal activity imaginable. When a wife and her policeman husband move to this small town, they want to have a quiet life. Quickly they become involved in the rival gang wars without knowing it. As Camilla wants the new couple on her side, It quickly becomes a battle for survival as the townsfolk and gang members try to come out on top. Will this all end in a Suburban Shootout?
