GenQ - For the not so straight individual

We live in a world where we have no outlets, and the simple things in life are under appreciated. I often get fed up with the world that is today. We as human beings are discriminated against; not only in issues of sexuality, but in terms of color and even religion. As each generation goes by, society becomes more ignorant  in accepting  difference in this world. In total frustration,  I write this poem:


Flame
She lays there
On that cold, cold floor
The tear drops fall
More and more
She watched the candle light burn
As it stings her baby blue eyes
She slides her finger over the flame
It makes her feel more alive
