What an incredible film. The finest actress in Britain today Helen Mirren, takes on a role as only she can The Queen of England Elizabeth the II. This role is bound to win her an Oscar for sure.

Set in the aftermath of Diana, Princess of Wales death, The Queen takes an in depth look at the royal family, the press and the public at large. The public thanks to the press are furious because the Queen refuses to make any statement or publicly show her feelings after Diana has passed.

The public are feeling lost and betrayed by their Queen. As the circumstances worsen and details of Dianas death come to light, the Queen still holds her ground. She wants to deal with the situation as a family matter not a pubic affair.

Prime Minister Tony Blair was played by Michael Sheen. This outstanding cast all did a brilliant job it brining a true story to the screen. It is amazing to get a peek inside the royal family and how day to day life in Britain was affected from this tragedy.

Combined with real life footage of Diana and those close to her, this film played on every emotion. This was so the audience really remembered how much the peoples princes meant all over the world. You must rush and see this film if you are a fan of the royal family or not.
