Tina Arena has returned in spectacular form with her new album, Songs Of Love And Loss. This album is full of Tina's favourite love songs from history, including the current single, To Sir With Love, originally performed by Lulu. This single is an amazing track, and allows Tina to show us her interpretation of a classic love song.

The album is Tina's first English-language album in 6 years, and features a collection of songs that share the themes of love and loss, as well as two new songs, Woman and Until. On this album are some classics that everyone knows, such as I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself and Everybody Hurts, plus some other hits that some of todays youth may not know, such as Kate Bush's classic The Man With the Child In His Eyes and Do You Know Where You're Going To, which fans of J-Lo and Mariah Carey may be familiar with. I have to admit, Tina's versions of Everybody Hurts and Do You Know Where You're Going To are some of the best cover versions of these songs that I've ever heard, and coming from someone who loves music as much as I do, that's saying a LOT!

Recent sales figures have also shown that I'm not the only one who loves this album and misses Tina, as Songs Of Love And Loss has already gone Platinum!!! The news caps off an exciting week for Tina, with the album having debuted at #4 on the Motorola ARIA Albums chart. This is Tina's highest chart debut in the past 10 years!!! Now THAT is amazing!!!
