Trust The Man set in New York City, features a strong cast including Julianne Moore, David Duchovny, Ellen Barkin, Eva Mendes and Billy Crudup. This romantic comedy is a fun look at how people living in a big city will never get what they want no matter how hard they try.

Rebecca played by Moore is a somewhat successful actress who suffers from insecurity in love and her career. Her husband Tom played by Duchovny, is a relaxed no problems kind of guy. Together the couple face a difficult challenge of raising children and trying to control Toms sexual addiction.

His addiction has reached the point where not only is he cheating on his wife but also attending a sex addicts help group. The other characters in the film are all connected to Rebecca and Tom in some way. They are also fighting their own demons dealing with trust, sex and guilt.

There are some genuinely funny moments in the film. When Tom attends his sex addicts group some of the other people in the group are just hysterical. Eva Mendes was good as a sexpot, cheating on her fiance with an old high school flame.

This film was shot all over New York City. It shows some of the most famous landmarks the city has to offer. The Lincoln Centre, The Village, Tribeca and Chelsea. Romance, drama and comedy all packed into NYC this is a recipe that anything can happen in this fun little film.

A good night in with friends and a bottle of wine will go well with Trust The Man.
