UKTV April 2007 Highlights.

Easter Long Weekend Whodunit!

Over the Easter long weekend our friends at UKTV have something very mysterious in store. 3 days of the best of British "whodunit" TV series around. Classic favourites like Inspector Morse, A Touch Of Frost and Judge John Deed headline these 3 days. Also look out for Wire In The Blood and Murder Rooms screening as well.


Grumpy Old Women

Starts Friday April 13th at 8pm.

All new to UKTV is Grumpy Old Women. This very funny show that brings to light what women bitch and moan about these days. Body image, shopping and teenagers are all up for attack. Once these women get started there is no stopping them.


Swinging

Starts Monday April 16th at 10pm.

In the tradition of Respectable screening last month on UKTV comes Swinging. This hilarious new comedy tells the story of a group of men and woman that celebrate many issues that people will not discuss openly these days. Worth a look.


State Of Play

Starts Thursday April 29th at 9:30pm.

This award winning series looks at corruption at the highest levels in politics. A huge hit in the UK, now Australian audiences will have the chance to see this brilliant series for the first time on UKTV.


Nighty Night

New to UKTV

Starts Monday April 30th at 9pm.

A good new series focusing on relationships and the secrets that people hide. When Jill discovers that he husband has cancer she looks at this as a new way to live her life. He has been cheating on her now Jill has the perfect excuse to get on with her new life without him. A new beginning is easier said than done as Jill soon discovers.
