The second series of Supernova starring cabaret star Tim Draxl, kicks of on December 8th at 8.30pm. This not only launches the second season of this hit show but also the Summer Nights of Comedy season on UKTV. The six part series filmed in the Australian Outback follows the stars in the sky and wacky townsfolk, who try to unravel their mysteries. Check out our exclusive picture of Tim Draxl in a bar with some tough Lesbians. Camp favourites such as Ab Fab and Little Britain will be screening each Monday night during the season. Showing all our favourite episodes that we all love and want to see again and again. New from the UK is a funny series called Phoenix Nights. It is a behind the scenes look of running a social club in Bolton. The cast are entertaining, and the characters cover all walks of life and local personalities. This series has been a huge hit in the UK and now Australian audiences can see this for the first time. Following on from Phoenix Nights comes the spin off series Max & Paddys Road to Nowhere. Here we have a closer look at the Phoenix clubs tough talking bouncers, and what they do for fun. These two guys are thick as thieves but are also thick in the head. I personally prefer the original Phoenix Nights but give this a go as well, you will not be disappointed. My personal favourite of the group is The Smoking Room screening Wednesday 3rd of January. In any large company there has to be a place where the staff can go and relax, this is called The Smoking Room. We all have a boss or a co-worker that we hate, here in The Smoking Room no topic or person is off limits. Get set for a great December on UKTV. Marcus Richa
