Now on DVD through Universal Home Video. ![]() ![]() ![]() The final three seasons of the much loved Will and Grace are now available to own on DVD. A huge hit with both gay and straight audiences alike each season just seemed to get better and better, both with the dialogue and the amount of guest stars that the show was able to attract such as Cher, Madonna and Elton John. My personal favourite character would have to be Karen but all characters made the show what it was. This show made progress into accepting gays and lesbian issues into the mainstream public, something that Ellen had failed to do. Jack, Karen, Will and Grace all remained the best of friends through the eight seasons even though we knew when they had a fight or a disagreement that this “feud” would never last too long. Their friendship was the core of the show. This friendship between Will and Grace was proven yet again at the start of the seventh season. Grace had just finalised her divorce from Leo played by Harry Connick Jr. wasting no time she once again moved back in with her best friend Will. The series wound up with the over the top Karen being broke and scheming another way to land a rich husband. We also got a look into the future of how their lives turned out many years on. With a total of 16 Emmys under its belt and several GLAAD media awards, Will and Grace became an unstoppable force in television history. Out of all the notable guest stars the most memorable to me would have to be Debbie Reynolds, playing the over top role of Grace’s mother Bobbi Adler. Her charm and style is something that has made her a living ledged for so many years. A great surprise under the Christmas tree this year are the final seasons of Will and Grace 6 7 and 8.
