queerDOC arrives for 2007Queer Screen's queerDOC Festival has its 2007 opening night on Wednesday 12 September. It is the festival that is described as ‘one-of-a-kind’, the annual queerDOC festival returns to Sydney this September in an emphatic fashion.
The collection for 2007 has been titled Wonders of Nature. Over seven nights, twelve films will be shown that celebrate the miraculous and marvellous that can be found anywhere, everyday. Opening Night for queerDOC ’07 will be held at CarriageWorks on Wednesday 12 September. The evening, which is titled The Illustrated Anatomy…, will feature two films; Projecting The Body, an intimate look into the life of filmmaker Stephen Cummins, and Destiny In Alice, a short comedy directed by Sonja Dare that looks into the lives of women who love Alice Springs. Other films that are featured in queerDOC for 2007 include 2 Mums & A Dad, Semper Fi, and Darling! The Pieter-Dirk Uys Story.
