Memorial bench in honour of Matthew Shepard
Judy Shepard, mother of Mathew Shepard, said that the nation, and the city of Laramie, has become more accepting of gays and lesbians in the 10 years since her son was beaten, tied to a fence and left to die. A ceremony on Saturday dedicated a bench in honour of Matthew.
