After spending nine weeks at number one, Fergie has claimed the title of Australia’s highest selling single of 2007 with Big Girls Don’t Cry.
Big Girls Don’t Cry was the highest of four appearances in the Top 100 Singles of the Year for Fergie, with Glamorous at thirteen, Fergalicious at thirty-eight, and the recently released Clumsy at fifty-two.
The double-platinum release outsold top five placegetters Girlfriend (Avril Lavigne), Umbrella (Rihanna featuring Jay-Z), highest selling single by an Australian artist Straight Lines (Silverchair), and Lips Of An Angel (Hinder)
Fergie also had the fifth highest selling album in Australia last year with The Dutchess.
