It had been dubbed ‘Kylie Day’ for weeks; Kylie Minogue has arrived in Sydney for her first live breakfast television interview in a decade.

Minogue appeared on Channel Seven’s Sunrise in front of an audience of several hundred directly outside the Martin Place studios, with as many as an estimated 400,000 viewers Australia wide.

Speculation was put to an end on performing at the party of the 30th Mardi Gras Parade alongside sister Dannii, with Kylie confirming that she would be in rehearsals for her KYLIEX2008 tour which commences in Paris on 6 May.

Kylie also confirmed that the possibility of an Australian leg of the tour was being reviewed, with the Minogue camp “plotting and planning”.

Minogue heads to Los Angeles on Tuesday to take part in G’Day LA, and will also shoot the video for upcoming single Wow, which is expected to have its physical release in Australia on 16 February after being released to radio today.
