Big Brother streamed ahead of official launch

For the second year in a row the Big Brother Launch Show has been streamed illegally online - 24 hours ahead of its actual premiere on Network Ten.

Last year it caused controversy when the recording was haulted for 15 minutes. The shows producers ordered all video camera equipment and mobile phones to be switched off. But when the streaming continued, security guards walked up and down the aisles searching for the guilty parties.

Finally the video feed was stopped and the filming resumed.

The unauthorised feeds were traced back to a fan-made-in-bedroom Big Brother website, Behind Big Brother.

Despite last years disruption and eventual filming overtime, the website have again decided to stream audio of the launch show on its own radio channel, threatening to impact on the shows all important first night of ratings.

Their "coverage" also includes photos of the stage area, plotlines of Big Brother's twists, plus also photos and information of housemates - breaking the media embargo.

So what's the real cost to Big Brother? With all of the housemates revealed, the house tour revealed, and any twists revealed all BEFORE the network could - why would you tune into the actual launch show?
