There is a dangerous saltwater crocodile on the loose in the Northern Territory. Attacking the tourists and residents alike, this is one of the more suspenseful films that I have seen in recent years.

The plot is simple; some Australians take a fishing trip up a dangerous river. Jumping into the action straight away, the fishing guide is eaten by the crocodiles. The remaining group then decide how they must escape safely.

While this may sound simple, the film was very easy to watch. The direction was brilliant and there are some genuine scary moments throughout the film. The cast overall were convincing and there was good chemistry between each of them.

If you enjoy thrillers such as Wolf Creek and Rouge then you will get into Black Water. A great new Australian film with bite!
