Giselle is a fun loving girl about to marry her Prince. Her new mother in law despises her and hatches an evil plan top send her to another world, even scarier than where she currently lives, New York City.

Arriving in New York Giselle is lost and disorientated. She has no idea of where she is or what her new surrounds are. Trying to locate her Prince she meets rich and handsome lawyer Robert and his young daughter of whom Giselle instantly bonds with.

Actually believing Giselle is a real princess the young girl convinces her father to keep her around and help her find her way. When Prince Edward arrives on the scene he and finds Giselle he has no clue that her love for him as changed after meeting Robert and his daughter.

The evil Queen Narissa is the perfect make up of the witch from Snow White and the evil stepmother from Cinderella. Susan Sarandon is just brilliant in this role. Her devilish charm made this role stand out as you would expect from a Disney witch.

No Disney film would be the same without music, dancing and some great special effects adding that magic Disney is so famous for. Some of the films best musical numbers take place in the amazing Central Park. On Blu Ray I have never seen such perfect picture quality showcasing the city of New York.

This is a perfect film for any age or gender. If you want to be swept away by fun loveable characters then I highly recommend Enchanted.
