Olivia Newton Jon shot to worldwide stardom along with John Travolta. This film is all about dancing, first love, being cool, and some great tunes in the all American high school. Sandy played by Newtown Jon and Danny played by Travolta meet while on vacation. When they return to Rydell High for the new school year they are shocked to find each other again.

Danny trying to be the cool member of the T Birds that he is plays down the attraction and feelings he has for Sandy. The simple plot makes this film what it is along with some sappy tunes that we all know the words to if we ever admit to it or not. The portrayal of these kids in high school in the late 50's is accurate and true to form. This evident by the possible teen pregnancy of Rizzo the school wild girl.

The famous Rydell prom is one of the best scenes in the film, with the costumes and climatic storyline makes Grease a must have for fans of musicals. This film is timeless and can easily be watched over and over again. At last this is how the film should be seen. With a stunning picture and sound transfer and some mind blowing special features.
