A fast moving action packed film that will leave you begging for more. In this political thriller Mark Wahlberg manages to hold his own as a top level ex government shooter who is accused of trying to assassinate the president of the United States.

Having lost his friend when they were both at war, Bob Lee decides it is time to retire from active duty. He creates a clam and quiet life in the mountains surrounded by nature and his pets. Out of the blue some government agents approach him to headline a secret operation.

This mission is to create a scenario if there was an actual plot on the president how would it go down and how could it be stopped. As it happened something goes wrong and before you know it Bob is accused of killing an Archbishop along with causing injury to the president.

The people behind the mission are so high up and it is almost impossible to find them and stop them before any more damage is caused. With Bob on the run and only two people that he can trust, he is running out of time. He must solve the mystery himself and keep those close to him alive.

Shooter is a brilliant film and is non-stop from beginning till end. The 120 minutes length flew by. This film is shot very well giving audiences amazing views and camera angels during every scene from the city to the mountains. Wahlberg has sure come along way from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch days.
