Stardust is every fantasy film combined together to crate a magical film that will appeal to all ages. Paramount Pictures has created a family friendly film that makes you want more, so saying that I hope that there is a sequel made sometime soon.

Claire Danes, who normally I’m not a fan, really made me take notice of her performances of late. Danes was sensational in Evening and now again in Stardust, her performance had me glued to my seat. This is an exceptional cast all round.

Stardust is about Tristan, whom was born in a mysterious way. As a young adult he meets Victoria and the two fall madly in love. One night they see a falling star and to prove his love to Victoria Tristan sets out on a quest to retrieve this star. His adventure takes him to a magical land known as Stormhold.

Tristan soon finds out that the falling star is a beautiful woman played by Danes. It seems that this falling star holds the secret to eternal youth. A witch, a king and Tristan are all in pursuit of this star for their own selfish reasons.

This film has it all, magical lands, witches, kings and a good story. The plot maybe a little hard to follow for some but everything makes sense in the end. The special effects are amazing along with Michelle Pfeiffer as the most beautiful witch that you will ever see in a film. Robert DeNiro as a cross dressing sea captain is a sight to be hold.
