Tonight during Ten's Bondi Rescue, Big Brother's worst kept secret was "officially" revealed in another housemate sneak peak - Dixie, 21, NSW.
Dixie was outed this morning by the Adelaide Advertiser, with Ten quick to confirm her identity and involvement in Big Brother 8 (no doubt to detract attention off the Cory sensation). So it was a bit of a waste of a "sneak peak" tonight when we're reading about it all day anyway.
"I'm not just a black fella - I'm an Aussie just like everybody else. And I still cry when I hear the national anthem", the mental health worker revealed. There was something about her that reminded me of Sara Marie - funny, naughty and honest.

She then goes onto say, "I am an obnoxious person, little bit rude, sometimes arrogant". Yep, that's Sara Marie, but that's why we loved her.
In a later promo, we see Terri (the first housemate revealed) and Dixie presented together but taken in different shots. Very interesting to see how both women are patriotic - but I get the feeling that's where their similarities end.
Unfortunately, I think it will be too irresistible for the media to not harpoon this - the Pauline Hanson wannabe VS. the aboriginal woman. But there is no race debate here at all. Terri is not talking about indigenous people in her preview promo, but immigration. No relevance there.
But in saying that, I still expect to read about the "Big Brother race card" tomorrow...
Nonetheless, it sure will be intriging to see a real mental health expert living in the Big Brother house - would someone working in the field handle it or instead buckle under preassure? Would it be an advantage - or a disadvantage?
The third housemate will be officially revealed on The Biggest Loser this Thursday at 7pm.
