The highly addictive series of Damages ups the stakes in Season two. Glenn Close and Rose Byrne leading the cast once again with some great additions of William Hurt and Marcia Gay Harden. Patti Hughes is up to her old tricks again with the surprise twists that’s will leave viewers addicted yet again.

The high powered Patti Hughes faces some of her own demons this season. Her once stable marriage is crumbling before her eyes and her son falls in love with an older woman. Each storyline and plot driven incidents are all somehow connected but they keep the viewer guessing throughout each episode.

The season opens up with Ellen still trying to get revenge on Patti who she believes murdered her fiancée from the previous season. Patti is now trying to win a class action lawsuit against an energy company accused of poisoning local rivers and dams and having killed some local residents. As expected some of these characters are all connected to Patti in some way. There is also an ongoing murder mystery

Set and actually filmed in New York, this series showcases the natural beauty of the city with the city itself being a prominent feature in each episode. If you are after a strong series with good acting and a smart story then you can’t go past Damages season two. Bring on season three!
