Created from the mind and life of comedian Chris Rock, this show is smart, stylish and just plain hilarious. Season Two has the complete 22 episodes that aired last year in America on the CW network.

Season two kicks off with Chris now in the eighth grade. In the first episode he asks a girl out on a date, only to be crushed when he is stood up. Showing a more mature side to Chris this season, he runs for class president. This becomes a nightmare for Chris as he shows that he can’t live up to his promises.

Growing up is never easy, but in a tough Brooklyn neighbourhood Chris and his family struggle to save every penny they can. I like the honest and fun view that this show takes on society.

In some parts this season was not as funny as the first, but still makes for some great TV. There are some great cast additions this season with Whoopi Goldberg being one of them. If you loved the first season then you must have the second, now available from Paramount Home Entertainment.
