Season five of Lost is one of the better written of the series so far. Throughout this season more questions about the island were answered with not many more raised, making this the most comprehensive season to date.

Season five kicked off with the Oceanic six back in the real world. Jack and Ben are still trying to get them back to the Island where very few people remain dead or alive.  To make maters worse the Slaughterhouse Five have become unstuck in time. This means they are now moving back and forth in time between centuries and decades. 

In a shocking twist the Oceanic Six find themselves trapped in the seventies along with the Dharma Initiative and the others. Sun manages to find out that Jin is still alive yet they are stuck years apart. The body count this season was huge and along with this are so many surprising twists and turns making this an awesome show to get addicted to.

After dragging along in previous seasons the pace and storyline moves along quiet well this time. This was well timed as the show announced that season six would be the last series made. An added bonus on the Blu Ray is the exclusive Lost University, A first-of its kind offering, students of LOST University will be able to access unprecedented levels of interaction with their favourite series through BD-Live technology.
