Skins series two is now on DVD, addictive as ever. This season keeps up the momentum and excitement that series one brought us in each episode. Picking up a few months after the dramatic series finale, where Tony was hit by a bus.

So much has changed in Tony’s life since his accident. His friends don’t know how to act around him. Sid is also a mess, his girlfriend Cassie has gone off to Scotland, when he tracks her down he thinks she is cheating on him due to something he sees on a web cam.

Gay boy Maxxie shows of his sexy dance moves in early episodes. Maxxie also gets some action from an unlikely bully. This season also sees Maxxie become a target of an obsessed girl at school who will make his life miserable and scary at the same time.

Life in Bristol has never been more interesting for this group of close friends. One of the most exciting stories from this season is Tony’s sister Effy goes off the rails putting her life and that of her friends in danger. There is also a death this season that surprised many, as this character was a fan favourite.

Skins will have you hooked from the first episode and doesn’t disappoint at all. I cant wait for the third season and hope that we see it sooner rather than later.
