This brilliant Australian series is back after a long wait with series 2. Beginning a year after the end of the last series, Frances O’Brien has completed her community service and is now back at Middleton. While she was away Nada was running things much to Frances’ dismay.

Frances now has lost all of her control, the staff now follows Nada’s rules that she created while Frances was away. The state of the art technology pod is now the centrepiece of the Library. This new design was created by Nada giving her greater control on what was once France’s safe haven.

On the home front France’s marriage is tested as he fantasizes about other men. Her oldest daughter is also becoming too much to handle adding further strain on her already fragile marriage. The pain of seeing her ex best friend Christine Grimwood each day will be enough to push Frances over the edge once again.

This season has a guest appearance in the second episode from Vince Colosimo.
This one of the best written Australian television series around at the moment.
Do yourself a favour and have a good laugh with the Librarians.
