This hilarious Christmas special follows on from two very successful series of The Worst Year of My Life.  Gluten for punishment Howard Steel and his long suffering wife return for a one off Christmas special filled with funny moments and the same enjoyment that we got from the first two seasons.

This three part special opens up with Howard driving his drunken boss home after the work Christmas party. On the way home she vomits on him making him unfit to continue driving. On arrival at her home Howard takes a shower and in a funny series of events his boss thinks that he is there to rape her.  

More craziness ensures when Howard takes baby Emily Christmas shopping at a local mall. He then gets into a fight with Santa Claus and mistakenly swaps the prams around with a black baby.

This is one of the funniest series to come out of the UK in recent years. I hope that one day they produce entire third season. If you are need of some good Christmas cheer this season and are a fan of the first two series. This is the way to go.
