You can’t go wrong with what comes out of the UK these days in relation to their television. The Worst Week Of My Life is a hilarious look and a nervous groom leading up to his big day.  The DVD set contains all seven episodes of season one.

Howard and Mel have it all, great jobs, love and a nice home. As the week approaches before their wedding everything that can go wrong to affect them both does. Howard has so much bad luck that we the audience, feel every anxious moment of this well written and acted series.

When an old flame of Howard’s shows up she threatens to ruin the wedding and he must go to lengths to keep her away from his impending bride. Added to this Howard has lost the wedding rings. Howard’s intentions are pure and honest but the people close to him will not accept these no matter how hard he tries.

This series has some great characters with good chemistry on screen. Mel’s family are rich snobs and the dynamic between them provides some of the funniest moments in the series. This is the British version of Meet The Parents.
