The hilarious second series is now out on DVD. The Worst Week of My Life is a fun and interesting look at the relationship between Mel and Howard. Howard seems to be the unluckiest man alive. His long-suffering wife Mel and her family are all caught up in chaos that series two brings.

Series two begins a week before the birth of Howard and Mel’s first child. As usual nothing goes to plan and a recent death in the family adds to the chaos. Not long after this, Howard is accused of sexual harassment at work. He goes to extreme lengths to get the case against him dropped.

When things seem to be going well Howard’s sexual harassment case is exposed. This puts him the firing line once again of his father in law. All these events lead up to the birth, which is one, the funniest births that I have seen on screen in awhile.

If you loved the first season and are in the mood for a good laugh, then I highly recommend series 2. This is British television at it’s funniest like only they can deliver. All seven complete episodes are on the DVD.
