Award winning production company SHooSH! Productions will be producing the Australasian Premiere of Bare at the Cromwell Rd Theatre, 27A Cromwell Rd South Yarra, from the 07th – 16th February as part of the 2008 Midsumma Festival.

Bare features Natasha Bassett, Chris Buchanan, Christian Cavallo, Mark Curran,

Brian Dixon, Dior Deumer, Lauren Doutch, Gemma Foster, Alana Kiely, Nicholas Kong, Tyson Legg, Adam Lovell, Bec McGuinness, Karl McNamara, Erin Newington, Elethea Sartorelli, Antony Talia, Jeremy Taylor, Kate Warner, Sarah Watson and Carla Zerbi and is Directed and Choreographed by SHooSH! Artistic Directors Nathan Firmin and Brad Fischer and Musically Directed by Adrian Szondy.

Dubbed as the new Rent, Bare is the story of a group of high school students at a Catholic Boarding School facing issues of sexuality and personal identity. As they struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves.

SHooSH! Productions theatrical credits include Pageant, The World Goes Round

(2006 Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Award for Musicians Award and Best Concert Production), Closer Than Ever and Putting It Together (2007 Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Award for Best Concert Production).

I saw Bare last night and it is a wonderful show. The cast are amzaing. Every one should get along and see it
